Top 5 Reasons to Visit Petco Park

It shouldn’t take more than the one reason- its existence to visit the home of the San Diego Padres, but for those of you who need some more convincing, here are my top 5 reasons to visit this ballpark:

For a complete recap of my visit last summer and full “tour” of the park, read my ballpark review and for money saving tips at this park, check out this post and more in my Money Saving Tips category. Also please bare with me as I continue to make videos as an effort to expand my content- it’s my Spring Training as well! ;)

For an excellent preview of the talent you might expect to see on the field, visit The Mandate blog for their MLB Preview of the San Diego Padres. They break down the off-season moves, pitching, hitting, etc. and certainly don’t hold anything back.

  2. Having been there a few times I have to say that it is really a nice park to go to. The best part is the location. Since it is right in downtown there are many things you can do before and after the games.

    • I didn’t get to hang out very much by the park since I was in somewhat of a rush, jamming in the trip. I did love the ballpark, can’t wait to visit again in August. Thanks for the comment :)

  3. Hey Alicia, thanks for checking out our site. Hopefully next time you’re in San Diego you’ll be able to spend a couple days. We have some great breweries and I think we’d be a great town to do a brewery guide of. Karl Strauss, Green Flash, and especially Alesmith and Stone would be the ones that I most highly recommend from a beer quality standpoint. Gordon Biersch has some decent beers too. Monkey Paw is a very cool, low-key bar that’s in downtown pretty close to the ballpark. Just throwing it out there for you. Keep up the good work!
